Gwen Rudy – Acupuncturist
Gwen Rudy is board certified as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Dipl. O.M.) by the National Committee of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac) in the state of Colorado. She lives in Leadville, Colorado and works as an acupuncturist and herbalist in both Leadville and Frisco, Colorado.
Gwen enjoys treating a wide variety of people and cases from pain management to emotional distress to digestive disorders. She also loves working with women’s health and particularly reproductive health, fertility, labor and perinatal care.
Gwen is trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine and received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. During this time she studied Japanese meridian therapy under Doctor Jefferey Dann, in a 4-year apprenticeship program. She also had the opportunity to study at Heilong Jiang University Hospital in China, a hospital specializing in neurological conditions, primarily stroke rehabilitation.
As an athlete on the USA Ski Mountaineer national team, Gwen developed a passion working with athletes and sports medicine acupuncture. She enjoys helping athletes with pain management, injury and rehab to help them get back to doing what they love!
